Amber D. Montano joined Angela Bean + Associates in December 2003. At UC Hastings, she focused on human rights and immigration law as a Public Interest Scholar. During law school, she interned with the Honorable Martin J. Jenkins, U.S. District Court San Francisco; the Center for Justice & Accountability representing plaintiffs who have survived torture in foreign countries; and the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies, where she worked on several asylum cases. She also participated in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Ms. Montano is a member of the California State Bar and of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Prior to law school, Ms. Montano worked for almost six years in international mobile telecommunications at AirTouch (Vodafone), including a one-year assignment in Spain. She holds a master's degree in international management. |
